31 weeks, 2 days

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already behind us. Christmas is just around the corner! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at home, just the two of us and the puppies. We made the full feast - turkey, potatoes, stuffing, veggies, cranberries, and of course, pie! With all of the craziness of school, work, and preparing for Baby Z, it was really nice to have a quiet day at home without any commitments. It's also nice to have these rare breaks together before we become parents.

Baby Z's nursery is coming together. Last weekend we brought home a dresser for Baby Z, a gift from her grandmother.
The left side of the dresser will be used as a changing table with the addition of a changing pad. We like that we can use the dresser for an infant and that it will transition nicely to a "big girl" dresser when we remove the changing pad. It's already stocked with Baby Z's clothes, blankets, tiny socks, hats and diapers for our baby girl's first days home from the hospital. We're really starting to feel "ready" for her arrival. As ready as we can ever be, at least!

Eight and a half more weeks - give or take. Eek!
