These pictures are courtesy of Lila's grandma, with whom Lila was fortunate to spend three weeks early this past winter.
Aside from so much time with her grandparents, probably the biggest highlight of Lila's winter was swimming lessons. She is quite the little fish!

Here's Lila at Grandma at Pate's house at Thanksgiving. All clean and ready to head to bed!

This is Lila and Daddy at the zoo at Christmastime. The lion was behind glass and yawned at just the right moment. Wow!

Lila is growing and changing daily, it seems. She's already so much bigger than she is in these pictures, and she's talking up a storm. She went from stringing two or three words together to speaking in complete sentences in about three weeks' time, and she hardly ever stops talking! (I have no idea where she got that from. Nope.)
We've been loving the warm spring weather and we've wasted no time indoors. Yesterday we took Lila's baby for a walk in her stroller, and when it started pouring rain halfway around the block, Lila was unfazed. She was so upset when I brought her in the house, soaking wet. She definitely got her love of the outdoors - rain or shine - from her dad, who took her back out to splash in puddles. They came back half an hour later, two muddy peas in a pod.
