No Z today because we are in Nebraska visiting family. This photo was taken in our hotel room this morning. Lila's playing with cherry wood blocks that her grandfather made for her.
It has been a busy, crazy week for Miss Lila. She has spent time with 4 grandparents, 4 great grandparents, a great great aunt, great aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. She has also mingled with piglets, cows, goats, sheep, and cows at the county fair. Busy, busy! I'll do a seperate post on our trip later.
This has been a happy week for Lila. She is sleeping very well (knock on wood!) mostly due to the fact that we have started putting her to bed on her tummy. She wiggles around a bit sometimes but manages to soothe herself back to sleep shortly after waking. This is HUGE! We are so happy that she seems to be learning how to comfort herself in the middle of the night. Last night she was awake a bit later than normal, and she slept from 8:30 pm until 5:30 am without waking. She was awake for about half an hour at 5:30 and then slept again until 8:30. Woo hoo!
Lila continues to be smiley and happy and enjoys talking and laughing. She loves bathtime, playing with toys, and anything crinkly.
Lila has so much personality and she's evolving and learning every day. Six months is proving to be our favorite age so far. (The sleep thing certainly helps, too)!
